Dr. Chris Kondorossy, DDS
Dr. Kondorossy completed a one-year clinical residency in dental implantology and I.V. sedation under the guidance of a forerunner in implant dentistry, Dr. Hilt Tatum. Dr. Kondorossy attends conferences and continuing education nationwide in order to provide his patients with the highest level of care available and is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
In May of 2022 after passing a rigorous examination on implant dentistry, Christopher C. Kondorossy, DDS from Richmond, Virginia joined 600 other dentists in the United States, Canada, and Internationally in becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), making Dr. Kondorossy one of the worldwide leading experts in implant care. Dr. Kondorossy has also earned his credentialing status as a Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and is currently the only dentist in the Richmond area to have these distinctions.
In 2021, Dr. Kondorossy joined an elite group of dentists by earning his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This distinction puts him in the top 6% of General Dentists nationwide.

LOCAL DENTIST NAMED DIPLOMATE IN IMPLANT DENTISTRY
CHICAGO — In May of 2022 after passing a rigorous examination on implant dentistry, Christopher C. Kondorossy, DDS from Richmond, Virginia joined 600 other dentists in the United States, Canada and Internationally in becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry (ABOI/ID), making Dr. Kondorossy one of the worldwide leading experts in implant care.
To sit for the examination, Dr. Kondorossy was required to practice implant dentistry for at least seven years and prove his implant expertise. To earn the title of Diplomate, Dr. Kondorossy presented cases for review by an expert panel of implant dentists and passed a series of written and oral examinations sponsored by the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.
The ABOI/ID’s examination process measures the in-depth knowledge, proficient skills, and abilities required for practitioners to provide comprehensive, safe, and effective oral implant care for the public.
The ABOI/ID was founded in 1969 and conducts examinations to determine the qualifications and competence of dentists who voluntarily apply to the Board for certification.
RICHMOND DENTIST RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS FELLOWSHIP FROM ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY

Dr. Kondorossy accepted this award along with 286 other recipients at a special convocation on June 12, 2021, during AGD’s Annual Scientific Session in Austin, Texas.
The AGD Fellowship Award is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to receive this award, Dr. Kondorossy completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. As a recipient of this award, Dr. Kondorossy has joined an elite group of more than 17,391 members of the dental community who understand that great smiles and good oral health for their patients are the result of going above and beyond basic requirements. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Dr. Kondorossy graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University Dental School in 2016 and currently
practices dentistry in Richmond, VA. In addition to the AGD, Dr. Kondorossy is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Richmond Dental Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
