What To Expect During Your Consultation
If you’ve lost a tooth (or teeth) due to injury or decay, dental implants could be the right solution to help repair your oral health and rejuvenate your smile. A consultation with Dr. Kondorossy will help determine if dental implants are suitable for your smile.
Dr. Kondorossy will start by examining your teeth from the inside-out using a cone beam CT. If he feels that you are a good candidate for dental implants, he will take time to educate you on the treatment plan, including procedure details and expected outcome. Dr. Kondorossy is a seasoned dental implants specialist and welcomes any questions that might arise during the consult.
How Do Dental Implants Work?
Dental implants are titanium posts implanted in your jaw that act as artificial “tooth roots,” permanently anchoring your new tooth, bridge, or denture. Each implant is topped with a dental crown, providing a comfortable chewing surface which also restores the appearance of the missing tooth.
At our Richmond dental office, we offer advanced same-day CEREC technology dental crowns. Dr. Kondorossy can fabricate your crown in just one visit!
The final costs of dental implants are influenced by…
- Location of the implant(s)
- Number of implants needed
- Type of restoration (single implant, bridge, denture)
- Whether or not bone grafting is required
- Dental Insurance
If you’re concerned about the cost of dental implants, call our Richmond dental office to schedule a consultation. Whether you’re on a budget, have a fixed income, or aren’t sure if your dental insurance covers dental implants, we have financing plans available to you!
