The first time you visit us at Drs. Rossetti, Cosby, & Kondorossy, we will discuss your health history, past dental experiences, and any related anxieties you may have about dental care. We make every effort to provide the highest quality care - all while we treat you like family. We never pressure our patients into treatment they don't want or need, and we encourage you to take an active role in your oral health.
Nervous about the dentist? Have a child with you? We provide tours of our Richmond dental office upon request to take the uncertainty out of your visit. We also offer sedation dentistry options for anxious patients.

We Don’t Rush Your Dental Care
Please reserve approximately 90 minutes of your time for your first visit with us. First, we will take a set of x-rays to provide a comprehensive view of your entire mouth, including the roots of your teeth and your jawbones. A periodontal exam will follow to evaluate your gum health and to screen for gum recession.
If your gums have no swelling or deep pockets, we will continue with a preventive teeth cleaning. Finally, we will determine whether you need any type of restorative treatment and even show you the findings of our high resolution intraoral camera!
State-of-the-Art Dental Technology
We always like to catch up with our patients and see what’s new in their lives—but we understand you’re busy! That’s why we invest in the latest technology to provide you high quality care and reduce the amount of time you spend in the dental chair. At our office in Richmond, VA our CEREC on-site laboratory enables us to produce same-day crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays—restorations that normally would take 2 weeks and would require you to come in for multiple appointments!
We have also considered ways to help you more fully participate in your care. Our intraoral cameras transmit real-time video, allowing you to see what we see. Our digital x-rays display your results immediately and cut radiation exposure by 90% compared to traditional x-rays. For a the deepest look into your mouth, jaws and face, we use a high-performance panoramic x-ray machine.
Early detection of dental problems simplifies treatment and saves you time and money. We use DIAGNOdent laser technology to detect hidden tooth decay. We also offer diode lasers to reshape the gums—improving oral hygiene less invasively than outdated gum procedures. For your smile makeover, we offer advanced cosmetic imaging software to give you an exciting preview.
